This course is a study of pathologic changes of the female pelvis. Students will study benign and malignant processes of the uterus, endometrium, ovary, and adnexa. Students will explore the etiology, patient clinical signs and symptoms, and sonographic appearance of each and how to formulate a differential for the development of exam summary. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in SON 220 , SON 221 , SON 222 , SON 223 , SON 281 .
