This course will explore the female pelvis and reproductive system from birth to menopause. Students will be introduced to the sonographic approaches to evaluating the female pelvis and its structures, identification of anatomy and variants, and the physiology and function of the uterus and ovaries from puberty to post-menopausal state. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in SON 213 , SON 214 , SON 215 , SON 216 .
