This course is the introductory application of sonographic principles and techniques in supervised clinical settings. Students will gain introductory knowledge in the workings of departments, scanning protocols, scanning technique, and patient care through both observation and assisted means. Students will be under direct supervision of clinical instructors. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in SON 213 , SON 214 , SON 215 , SON 216 .
