This course will focus on the ultrasound system display and storage as well as Doppler concepts and its instrumentation. Students will learn concepts of various Doppler modes and the principles related to their individual function and instrumentation. Students will explore techniques in proper color image and waveform optimization related to Pulsed Wave, Continuous Wave, Power, and Color Doppler modes. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in SON 210 , SON 211 , SON 212 .
