This course provides students with an introduction to the health care setting and their role in providing effective patient care. Students will explore medicolegal aspects of healthcare as well as their role in assessing and providing patient care with safety considerations. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in SON 210 , SON 211 , SON 212 .
