Students will receive hands on instruction in sonographic scanning technique of the pancreas, kidney, spleen, and thyroid organs. Students will learn methods of improving image quality through proper instrumentation manipulation as well as patient positioning and instruction. Students will explore various scanning techniques for imaging and assessment of organ anatomy. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in SON 210 , SON 211 , SON 212 .
