The focus of this course includes the study of fetal and maternal structures as it relates to the first, second, and third trimesters. Students will learn about fetal embryology, normal and abnormal first trimester structures and complications, fetal biometry, and assessment of normal fetal anatomy in the second and third trimesters. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in SON 227 , SON 228 , SON 229 , SON 282 .
