This course provides the requirements for training others in the requirements for working safely around electrical equipment. ln addition, the course covers the requirements for the development of an effective “Electrical Safety Program”. The course topics include single and three-phase systems, cord and plug-connection, fixed equipment, grounding, ground fault circuit interrupters, and safety-related work practices. Students will learn what OSHA and NFPA expect companies to train others to become a “Qualified Person” as outlined in OSHA and NFPA Standards.
