HSM-101 Introduction to Hospitality Credits: 3 Contact Hours: Lec 3 Lab 0 Practicum 0 Tier Rate: Tier I This course provides a global look at hospitality from a management viewpoint with career opportunities in hospitality lodging, food service and related businesses such as clubs, casinos and spas. The course pays special attention to current management issues, including diversity, retention, harassment, leadership and ethics.
Please note:
Grade of “C” or higher is required for this course for advancement into upper level courses. Prerequisite(s): No prerequisites required.
