ECD-299 Capstone Practicum IV

This practicum course provides students with the opportunity to experience being the lead teacher in an early learning setting; implementing concepts and strategies gained from course instruction and modeling best practices within an early childhood environment. Students will review different curriculum models and plan and implement lessons and activities as they lead the classroom. Students will complete 50 practicum hours in an approved high quality early learning setting. An FCSR background check and TB test or Risk Assessment are required. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in ECD 255 and a minimum of 33 ECD credit hours.
