The food service industry is the focus of the Culinary Arts A.A.S. degree program. Course offerings in food preparation, baking, pastries, purchasing, food safety and sanitation, along with supervision, combine theory and concept with demonstrations by chefs and hands-on practice. Choose from: AGR ***, BUS 125 BUS 140 BUS 145 BUS 160 BUS 200 BUS 260 , CHM ***, CIS ***, CUL ***, ECO 270 , GDT ***, HRM ***, or any foreign language course. Students are strongly encouraged to choose HRM 290

Mathematical Sciences - 3 Credit Hours


Any math course listed below, or any higher-level math course, will meet this requirement.

Written Communication - 3 Credit Hours


Natural Sciences - 3 Credit Hours


BCS 132 can fulfill this requirement if previously taken.  

Social and Behavioral Sciences - 6 Credit Hours


PLS 101 and PSY 110 are preferred.
