A.A.S. Degree: 65 Hours The food service industry is the focus of the Culinary Arts A.A.S. degree program. Course offerings in food preparation, baking, pastries, purchasing, food safety and sanitation, along with supervision, combine theory and concept with demonstrations by chefs and hands-on practice. Program Courses - 41 Credit Hours
Management Option - 3 Credit Hours
Choose 1 course; HRM 265 is preferred Related Electives - 6 Credit Hours
Choose from: AGR ***, BUS 125 , BUS 140 , BUS 145 , BUS 200 , BUS 260 , CHM ***, CIS ***, CUL ***, ECO 270 , GDT ***, HRM ***, or any foreign language course. Students are strongly encouraged to choose HRM 290 General Education Requirements - 15 Credit Hours
Mathematical Sciences - 3 Credit Hours
Any higher level MTH course will satisfy this requirement. Written Communication - 3 Credit Hours
