This course entails a study of the structure, growth, control, classification and identification of microorganisms. In the laboratory students learn basic aseptic techniques and become familiar with common laboratory procedures. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in BCS 146 or BCS 205 or concurrent enrollment.
