This course continues the study of the adult heart to include anatomy and physiologic function and the pathology and disease processes. Students will study mechanism of disease, pathophysiology, hemodynamics, sonographic technique, measurements, quantitative principles, and instrumentation used in assessment. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the program.
