This course will teach skills designed to improve the performance of pre-nursing students on nursing admission exams. The content, which focuses on reading comprehension, operational math skills, and review of relevant anatomy and physiology concepts, will also include test-taking strategies geared specifically to the question types students see on nursing exams. Finally, students will be introduced to methods proven successful in managing test anxiety and provided resources for ongoing management. This course is specifically designed for students planning to apply to the Practical Nursing program or the Direct Entry Associate of Science in Nursing program. This course is NOT designed for those LPN’s seeking admission to the ASN completion program.
