This course is a study of the gross anatomy and microscopic anatomy of the pulmonary and cardiac systems. Electrophysiology of the heart, mechanics of ventilation, gas transport and neurochemical control of ventilation are presented. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in BCS 165 or BCS 205 .
