Note: Course only offered in the fall semester. This hands-on course provides students the opportunity to experience virtualization, network storage, and cloud systems. Students will install, configure, and manage industry-leading technologies to gain understanding of the components of enterprise-level virtualization methods. This course helps prepare students to pass the CompTIA Cloud+ certification. Students will learn about the architectures, features, and benefits of Intelligent Storage Systems; business continuity solutions such as backup, replication, and archive; and the increasingly critical area of information security. Skills learned in this course will equip students with the foundation necessary to effectively centralize and manage applications in the datacenter or cloud and instantly deliver them as a service to users anywhere. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in ITI 110 and ITI 112.
