Essentials to pass the Federal Aviation Administration Private Pilot Knowledge examination. Subjects include introduction to the airplane, airplane systems, airplane performance, weight and balance, airports, radio communications, air traffic control and airspace, navigation charts and flight computer, cross-country flight planning, flight publications, radio navigation weather theory and weather data, federal aviation regulations and National Transportation Safety Board, and medical factors of flight. Prerequisite(s): Active program of study must be AVI. Instructor Consent required.
