BHS-280 Evidence Based Treatment

Tier Rate: Tier III
This course will introduce students to cognitive behavioral therapy, parent management training, parent-child interaction therapy, and other evidence based practices. The types of medications commonly prescribed for emotional, personality, and physical disorders will be identified along with the requirements of administering and observing self-administration of medications. Prerequisite(s): BHS 250 ; Grade of “C” or better in PSY 285 .
