NUR-225 Maternal and Pediatric Nursing

This course involves the study of nursing care of mother and infant during antepartal, intrapartal and postpartal periods. The pathophysiology of common diseases of children is included. Nutrition, pharmacology and the nursing process are integrated throughout the course. The clinical component gives the student opportunity to incorporate the theory into practice. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in NUR 215 and NUR 240 .
