EDU 220: Foundations of Education: Teachers and Schools

This course is designed to examine the historical, philosophical, sociological, political, economic and legal foundations of the American public education system. Students explore the nature of school environments, design and organization of school curricula and characteristics of effective schools and instruction in grades P12.  Prerequisite(s): Grade of “B” or better in EDU 130.
