OTA-276 Emerging Practice and Special Issues in OT

This course will introduce students to emerging practice areas of OT, not always seen in traditional settings of practice. Special issues related to legislation, practice standards, technology, or changes in the profession itself will be presented here. Current issues and trends will be the focus, as noted by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in all previous OTA courses.
