OTA-265 Screening and Assessment for the OTA II

Contact Hours: Lec 1 Lab 2
Students will learn how to administer standardized assessments commonly used in OT practice. The role of the OTA in screening and evaluation will be discussed. Students will learn how to document assessment data, as well as how to communicate with the Registered Occupational Therapist when supervision is needed in such activities. This course continues from Assessment I in the second semester. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in all previous OTA courses.
