HIS-125 Hearing and Auditory Disorders

This course provides a basic understanding of the otologic conditions affecting hearing. Otologic red flags that require referral to medical physicians and other healthcare specialists are discussed. Students develop a referral protocol for their patients to speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and otolaryngologists.
