HRM-215 Hospitality Marketing Credits: 3 Lec 3 Lab 0 Practicum 0 Tier Rate: Tier I This course is designed to give students an understanding of the specific marketing needs of the hospitality industry. Students will analyze the needs of the consumer, study the segmentation of identified markets and select the best marketing tools to reach individual consumers. Students will further learn how to apply key marketing methodologies through research, sales, customer service, advertising, public relations, promotions, electronic marketing, packaging, rates, pricing strategies and revenue maximization. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in HRM 101.
