This course will provide instruction on lashing, fusing, and other key skills needed to work with fiber optic and copper communication cables. Students will learn how to run fiber optic communication cables both on the poles in the air as well as in underground situations. Students will also learn how to fuse fiber for connections and other key skills related to this field. Prerequisite(s): EDS 200
