ASN-125 Nursing Pharmacology

The purpose of this course is to intdroduce the student to pharmacotherapeutic agents.  The student will examine the pharmacotherapeutic agents used in the treatment of illness and the promotion, maintenance and restoration of wellness in diverse individuals across the lifespan. The focus is on the nurses role and responsibilities in the safe administration and monitoring of the effects of pharmacotherapeutic agents. Prerequisite(s): ASN 110
