Concepts of basic drug science and their application to respiratory drugs, including bronchodilators, corticosteroids, mucokinetic agents, and antibiotics will be covered. The student is also introduced to other drugs commonly used by pulmonary patients, cardiac patients, ICU patients, and medications used for advanced cardiac life support. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Respiratory Therapy program.
