This course helps students develop an intentional teaching and care giving approach for young children. It is a foundational course based upon integrating NAEYC guidelines including promotion of child development, creating classroom environments, understanding learning approaches, child assessment & curriculum development, while partnering with families to promote child success.

Prerequisite(s): ECD 101 and ECD 135 .
