This course is a study of the use of physical agents and therapeutic massage in the practice of physical therapy for the relief of pain and inflammation and the facilitation of motor function. The course includes techniques of application, indications, contraindications, precautions, and conditions for which treatment is provided. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in PTA 200 .
