This course examines psychological disorders, theoretical explanations, diagnostic criteria, treatments, and stigmas. The historical perspective is examined along with the current and ongoing understanding of psychopathology. Emphasis is placed on comprehending the major categories of disorders and the existing research and treatments. Prerequisite(s): PSY 110
