PLS-250 The Politics of the Environment Credits: 3 Lec 3 Lab 0 Practicum 0 Tier Rate: Tier I Environmental politics provides an in-depth analysis of the domestic and global dimensions of environmental issues, including air and water pollution, hazardous waste, stratospheric ozone depletion, global warming, the greenhouse effect, population policy and alternative energy systems. This course will focus on the political interactions within and across nation-states in dealing with environmental problems. Prerequisite(s): PLS 101 .
