HRA-225 Programmable Control Credits: 4 Contact Hours: Lec 2 Lab 4 Practicum 0 Tier Rate: Tier II This lecture/lab course introduces the basic hardware and programming language of common programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial process control systems. The student learns the proper syntax of PLC code, basic commands and the functioning of the program cycle. Programs will be written around discreet control elements. Students learn how to use basic programming commands to perform typical industrial processes. Prerequisite(s): HRA 102 , HRA 103 , HRA 135 .
