AVI-260 Aviation Safety

The purpose of this course is to expose the student to a variety of issues in Aviation Safety, including the nature of accident, the agencies involved in investigation, safety regulation, recommendations, and rule making, as well as safety management systems, tools, and methods used to promote and evaluate safety. A special emphasis will be placed on major aviation related accidents, the investigation, factors, causes, and the resulting effects of those.  Prerequisite(s): AVI 101 .
