HIS-230 Advanced Audiometry
Credits: 3 Contact Hours: Lec 2 Lab 2 Practicum 0 Tier Rate:Tier III This course covers not only the topic of when to use masking, but also how to perform masking. Students will examine various types of advanced speech testing materials, such as speech-in-noise testing procedures. The course also introduces the concepts of specialized audiometric tests. Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in HIS 130.
