Ozarks Tech Academic Catalogs

Ozarks Technical Community College publishes its Academic Catalog on an annual basis. Starting with the 2024 Academic Catalog, the catalog cycle begins with the Summer semester and concludes at the end of the following Spring semester; prior to 2024, the catalog began with the Fall semester and concluded with the following Summer semester. The catalog serves as the official source of information on academic programs, courses, and degree requirements for that cycle and should be used in conjunction with academic advising and degree planning tools.

Although curriculum review is ongoing throughout the year, Ozarks Tech holds an annual Curriculum Committee meeting in October to approve eligible submissions for the following academic catalog; information about the Curriculum Development and Revision process can be found in Policy 2.02

The catalog is published only once per year to maintain consistency and clarity for students and faculty; however, new programs will not appear in the catalog until all required state and accrediting body approvals have been finalized. Updates to catalog content may occur after publication to correct errors or omissions, if needed.

Students are required to meet all institutional and programmatic graduation requirements outlined in the catalog in effect at the time of their initial enrollment as a degree-seeking student at Ozarks Technical Community College. If a student discontinues enrollment for more than one calendar year (12 consecutive months), they must meet the requirements in effect at the time of re-admission as a degree-seeking student. If a student changes their program of study, the catalog in effect on the date of the program change will apply.

If program requirements are revised in subsequent catalogs, students may choose to adopt the newer catalog year by submitting a request to their college navigator. Students who are unsure which catalog applies to their program should consult with their College Navigator.

Every effort has been made to ensure that all links in each catalog are accurate and functional at the time of publication. However, web content is subject to change, and some links in archived catalogs may no longer be valid or may direct to updated pages.
